ARTS & CRAFTS-

Creative programs include a range of craft projects geared to age and ability. Weaving, beading, gimp and mask making, to name only a few, make Arts & Crafts one of our most popular and productive activities.

BOATING-

Progressive skills are taught in rowing, canoeing, and sailing, with emphasis on waterfront safety. All campers and staff are required to wear life jackets.

MUSIC AND DRAMA-
The basic program tries to bring out the natural rhythm and melody that all children carry inside themselves. We sing, dance, act, pretend, march, mime...anything that involves movement and music.

GYMNASTICS-
Even the youngest campers will develop skills in tumbling and floor exercise, while the older children progress in using the balance beam, vaulting, and bars.

NATURE-
This program seeks to increase the child's awareness of the natural world. Nature hikes, projects, and interacting with live animals are some of the activities children enjoy here. Outside experts are brought in to make special presentations featuring such things as exotic animals or a zoo mobile.

SPORTS-
Campers are instructed in a variety of team and individual sports. Basic skills, rules, and good sportsmanship are taught for soccer, volleyball, lacrosse, track and field, and other modified games, always emphasizing fun and participation for all.
SWIMMING-
Red Cross Water Safety Instructors are in charge of daily morning lessons. Additional swimming instructors and assisting Group Counselors keep the teacher to camper ratio low, always taking the swimming ability of the campers into consideration. All Red Cross skill levels are offered, as well as change of pace skills such as diving and water games. Free swim takes place in the afternoon.

TENNIS-

The Camp eight all-weather courts, on which basic instruction is offered. The emphasis for the younger children is on interesting and imaginative games and drills to acquire skills. Older campers will have greater access to facilities and instruction and may participate in formal and informal competition.
