Below are some of the most frequently asked questions about computer
camp. If you have any questions not answered on this page, feel

Q. How long is Computer Camp?
A. Computer Camp is 6 weeks long and runs Monday-Friday, 9:00AM
- 4:00PM
Q. Can a Camper attend for more then one
week?
A. Campers can attended for as many weeks as they like, based on
enrollment availability. While some campers attend camp for one
week, others choose more than one week. Campers can choose any combination
of weeks that work best for them.
Q. What is the counselor to camper ratio?
A. There is 1 counselor for every 7 campers, this does not include
our 5 instructors.
Q. What should I do if my Camper wants to attend Computer Camp?
A. You should contact the Summer Programs Office at daycamp@brooksschool.org
or at (978)725-6253 and they will add you to the list to receive
mailed information in approximately February 2005.
Q. How many hours a day are the campers on the computers?
A. The kids usually spend about 5 hours of the day on the computers.
Q. What different programs do the campers
use at camp?
A. The campers can choose from a wide variety of programs, including
Microsoft Frontpage, Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Flash, Microsoft
Visual Basic, Microworlds Logo, Lego Mindstorms Interactive C ,
Hyperstudio, SimCity, Incredible Machines, Oregon Trail, The Time
Warp of Dr. Brain , The Logical Journey of the Zoombinis, I SPY
Treasure Hunt, Dinosaur Adventure 3-D, Thinking Things, AutoSketch
and Build Your Own PC
Q. What is the daily schedule at camp?

8:30-9:00 AM- Arrival
9:00-10:00 AM- Introduction to the day's activities, Computer Activity

10:00-10:15 AM- Outdoor break with Snack
10:15-11:15 AM- Computer Activity II
11:15 AM-12:15 PM- Swimming/Tennis/Playground/Sports & Games
12:15-12:45 PM- Lunch
12:45-1:45 PM- Computer Activity III
1:45-2:00 PM- Outdoor break with Snack
2:00-3:00 PM- Computer Activity IV
3:30-4:00 PM- Enrichment Activities (campers choose from a list
of technology related activities)
Q. Where is my camp website / How do I access it?
A.Camper Websites will be available after the last week of camp
for this summer. Camper websites can be accessed directly on this
website by clicking on the correct week that you attended camp.
