The original warrior series takes place from the eyes of a young cat named Rusty. He soon finds a cat named Ravenpaw, and they fight for a while. soon rusty defeats Ravenpaw, and Ravenpaw invites him to join a group of cats called Thunderclan. Rusty soon has his name changed to Firepaw.

The new prophecy takes place from the eyes of Stormfur, a Riverclan cat that went on a mission to sun-drown-place and received the prophecy that told the forest cats to leave the forest and move to the lake. it also takes place from the eyes of Leafpaw/Leafpool, who was the medicine cat of Thunderclan. Leafpaw was also the daughter of Firestar and sandstorm.
