Bright Start & Stay and Play

Families who need a little extra flexibility can take advantage of our Bright Start and Stay and Play programs—safe, supervised options that extend the camp day while keeping participants active, social, and engaged.

Start the day with a smile! The Bright Start program offers an early drop-off option where participants ease into the morning through indoor guided play and light activities, before joining their regular camp groups at 9:00 a.m. Our experienced activity counselors provide supervision and support, ensuring a smooth and cheerful transition into the camp day.

Hours: 8:00–9:00 a.m.
Location: Athletic Center

When the camp day’s done, Stay & Play keeps the fun going. Participants enjoy supervised free swim, crafts, playground time, and an afternoon snack in a relaxed, friendly setting. It’s a great way to unwind and extend the camp experience in a familiar environment.

Hours: 4:00–6:00 p.m.
Location: Summer Programs Office, pools, and surrounding activity spaces

• Extended afternoon care until 6:00 p.m.

• Choice-based activities that balance structure and outdoor fun

• Light snack provided daily

Campers must be picked up by 6:00 p.m. at the Summer Programs Office. Proper identification is required to sign out with the on-duty supervisor. A late fee will apply to pick-ups after 6:00 p.m.

Registration & Fees

Before-and-after care services are available for an additional $25 per visit with advanced purchase or a $30 drop-in fee.

Enrollment is completed through the Family Portal, and advance registration is required to ensure appropriate staffing.

If your family’s schedule changes, please contact the Summer Programs Office via email or phone. In the event of rain, all activities will be held indoors in the Athletic Center.
