Carleen Cox

Carleen Cox serves as a Camp Nurse for Summer at Brooks, bringing a strong blend of clinical expertise and educational leadership to the Health & Wellness team. A board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, she holds a Master of Science in Nursing and is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Educational Leadership. Her background spans over a decade of medical experience, including advanced practice, acute care, and shaping future healthcare professionals through clinical simulation and instruction.

Outside of Brooks, Carleen works as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Nursing at Merrimack College and practices in the bariatric department at Cambridge Health Alliance. Having joined the Summer at Brooks community in 2026, she is excited to return for another great season of ensuring a safe, supportive, and fun environment for all campers. In her free time, Carleen loves staying active by working out and playing basketball, reading, and spending quality time with her family.
