Kristen DeCost

Kristen DeCost serves as a Camp Nurse for Summer at Brooks, providing compassionate, high-quality care to keep campers safe, smiling, and ready for fun. She brings a wealth of medical and academic expertise to the Health & Wellness team, holding a Doctor of Nursing Practice and serving as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Her background spans acute clinical care, public school nursing, and more than a decade shaping future healthcare professionals in nursing education.

Outside of Brooks, Kristen works as an Associate Clinical Professor of Nursing at Merrimack College and serves students in the Peabody Public School System. Her family is also a proud part of the Summer at Brooks community, with her two children attending camp. Blending her professional expertise with her perspective as a mom, Kristen loves connecting with families and believes that a little kindness, patience, and the occasional popsicle can make any camp day better.
